Added: 01/15/2012		Would any of your members be willing to sit in on an Ice Rescue class coming up at MCPSTC? The cost will range from $10 - $20 dollars per student and students must have the Water Rescue and Emergency Response class to take the course.

I would also like to come out and meet with your officers/department to show what we have and can offer your department. We're now QRS certified, a Type IIIa Swiftwater Rescue Team and have the only certified bloodhounds in Monroe County which is one of the best resources you could have initially on a search.

The crew helped with resupplying foam to the airport crash truck as well as suppression efforts utilizing the foam handlines from the truck. They all worked efficiently and professional. It was great to see 2 departments who may never work together again, get the job done so well!

Added: 03/19/2010		Richard. We only accept members 18 and over. But come down to drill Tuesday between 7pm - 9pm at the Saylorsburg station to pick up an application and fill it out so we can get the application process started and you can join as soon as you turn 18.

My neighbors have told me that the local fire department sometimes will burn these things down to practice putting out a fire. Is this true? And if so, how could I arrange for this?

Added: 03/04/2009		NOBODY DOES IT BETTER!! We miss you guys. Looking at the pictures makes me so homesick. The company I'm in has really nice people, but it's not the same. The main station has 24/7 paid staff now with volunteers to help. I could never catch a truck with them rolling so quickly. They've built a beautiful new station near our house, with one volunteer to respond to it--me! I rarely get to roll my truck, though, because the calls aren't big enough. Thom didn't bother to join because he knew it would never be like Blue Ridge. At least I can say I've been up in the aerial all 95'. That's great. Take care. Pam
